Please tell me what you think, im confused?

I like the word usage in the second one, but the message kind of got lost somewhere? I don't know the "meaning" but thats just me I always look for the meaning in things :) The first one I get it I guess...your pursuing a good life trying hard but you get caught up and pushed off track, you blame the devil..that you can't escape but in reality its you thats the evil..its your fault.? Am I close? The second one is it about someone who loved then got their heart broken and lost sight of the goodness in life? Everything turns cold..and your distrusting? I think I get it.. I disagree with the first guy I think you have some talent here besides everybody is a critic. Can you say Jealousyyy
